Oh yes, I did really. It was awesome. The trumpet fanfair at the beginning got us halfway up the aisle, and then it launched into the familiar strains of the main theme. There was much laughter and fist-pumping from the congregation. Thankfully my choir director wasn't around back then or I think he would have disowned me. He still contends that my marriage isn't valid due to innapropriate use of sci-fi soundtracks as part of the ceremony, but I think that might just be because he doesn't like my husband. *smirk*
Those elitists! I hear their catering is just awful too.
That really is awesome, especially the congregation reaction. I'm going to have a really invalid marriage because I'm already scheming all sorts of ways to slip nerdy soundtrack music in. ("No, that's not the Gondor theme. Really.")
