Yes, this is a "parents" rant.
I was playing music, very softly, mind you, and they both started freaking out and screaming at me to "TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!!! HOW DARE YOU HAVE SUCH A LOUD RACKET GOING ON WHILE WE'RE IN THE HOUSE?!?"
I mean, WTF? Before this turns into some psuedo-goth-teen rant crying about how their parents won't let them listen to their angsty death metal, let me state what I was listening to - Disney orchestral soundtracks. Yup, soothing string music from Pocahontas. I mean...what?! Maybe if they said the noise was distracting or something, but the way they screamed on and on you would think I was listening to sexually explicit rap or something.
Anyway, before this turns into a meaningless post...
Heard on the radio today: "A truck carrying crates of shoes spilled the crates into the highway. Many soles were lost."
