FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD
May. 23rd, 2005 01:37 pmAfter months of eating nothing but bagels, I was very excited to go to Lawry's with
angrykeebler,
wtfsad, and
rosehiptea. And it did not disappoint! The salad was tasty, the prime rib was great, the cream corn was heavenly, and the creme broule was love itself. I really want some cream corn now. ;_;
wtfsad ordered her English cut meat well done, but it turned out to be jerky, though ironically, there is no jerky in England!!! (or so mr mitts says)
It was tons of fun. I wish I could go there more often. But alas, I return now to my forlorn life of BAGELS again. (Apparently, there are no bagels in England, either.)
Saturday, we saw Star Wars. George Lucas is possibly the best screenwriter in HISTORY!!! Such tearjerking lines included:
"You are SO beautiful!"
"That's because I'm in love!"
and of course the famous "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo"
Really, I was in tears.
Sunday, I went to my sister's orchestra concert. IT WAS THREE AND A HALF HOURS LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I doodled all over my program. YAY.
Anyway, if any of you picks up Blades magazine this month (the ice skating magazine, not the one about sharp weapons, although that's nice too), there's a nice two-page article on my sister. Woo.
