I caught a cold...
IN FLORIDA!
HOW DOES ONE DO THAT?
*COUGHS ON ALL OF YOU AND SPREADS THE LJ GERMS AROUND*
Ahem. Update. My life is currently falling its way through Misery Canyon, home to the famous Slough of Despair, and neighbor to the dastardly Mount of Angst.
Personal issues aside, I want to go to Disneyworld again because the Tower of Terror is fabulous! And yes, I could just go to California Adventures here, but honestly...California Adventures? Oh yay, let's have fake adventures in this dull state! Bah.
I have concluded that my sister truly is insane and needs a therapist. And meds.
In between the intermittent coughing out of my lungs, I have learned that the Muse CD is teh awesome. No seriously. GO BUY IT NOW. I thought it might be interesting, but the album turned out to be a masterpiece. I haven't heard such a glorious fusion of sound since Silverchair's Diorama. Anyway, anyone that incorporates classical piano into rock music is already COOL^2. And I don't mean someone like Alicia Keyes plunking down a horrible, amateurish rendition of Fur Elise in front of her song and claiming that is "classical fusion." This is actual piano playing, right from the grand opening chords that bellow their way right into the first song. I don't know how to describe it really, other than to say it's what "SOUND" is supposed to...sound like. It's brilliant.
Yes, being sick limits my already limited eloquence.
But I'm rambling. Back to my canyon I go!
