I had a few quibbles with some of the changes from the book, but overall, I loved it.

Wonderfully concise review! It did have all of that but I thought it went too far in the "Hey lets do an epic battle like ROTK" and sort of lost the fantastical magic and emotion of the book. It wasn't bad though :)

Why does everybody think the kid who played caspian is cute?? He's a good actor but not a "hawt" actor.

It's not a real spanish accent! He literally went home and watched Princess Bride and learned to copy Inigo Montoya. He said so in an interview (which is in itself made of WIN though).

I've heard that criticism about the LotR-style epic battle, but I personally felt like it was a pretty small battle and would have been mocked if it had been in LotR.

But that's just the problem. They took a major battle scene from the book and tried to squeeze as much "epic" out of it as they could, which just doesn't fit the circumstances or scale of what was going on. And it was mockable because of that.

I agree with you on that, but I'm happy with any sword fighting I can see. :)

And I'm guilty of thinking Caspian's hawt...maybe it's the hair? He'd do nothing for me with short hair!
