Is there a way to make your friends page a different layout than your own layout?

Thank you! Umm, one more stupid question...where can I do all this? I browsed through the "customize" section without any luck.

The easiest thing to do is pick a custom layout, such as component or boxy or whatever and find the associated "help" community on LJ. They'll have tutorials, etc.

For component it's component_help, for example.
